What is the first thing you think of when you think about party poppers? The chances are you think of parties – after all, that’s what they were designed for isn’t it?
But a lot of people think of them in association with parties for older children. And while they may be used in such a setting they are also extremely popular for adult parties as well.
Just think of the number of settings you may have seen or heard party poppers being used in. For example there are New Year’s Eve parties where everyone pops them at midnight. There are also weddings where the bride and groom make sure there are some on every table. And there are countless other occasions where the only thing that will provide the finishing touch you are looking for is a party popper.
So it is clear that these small but potent things are welcome at lots of different parties. This is why you will find them in all kinds of different guises. For example some of them are brightly coloured, coming in a mixture of different colours and looking good on any table. Others are more refined in just gold or silver, providing you with a stunning and eye catching addition to any party table or arrangement.
The one thing you need to be careful of is that small children don’t get hold of them. You need to ensure they are kept well away from kids of a young age. Always read the instructions on the packet but use your common sense as well and keep them out of reach if young children are around. They will not know how to use them responsibly, and they should always be aimed away from the face and away from other people as well.
In short they can be used for all kinds of situations. But they should always be stored safely away when they are not needed and even at parties you should make sure people are aware they are around. Adults know how to handle them and keep everyone safe, but children are another thing altogether.
Don’t let this put you off using them though. When you have plenty of party poppers added to a party of any kind, you will notice the difference. Everyone will have a fabulous time and there is nothing like letting them all off at once to get a really big bang.
